The Garmin GPSMAP 76 waterproof handheld GPS is great for use on land or on water. It has many great features and is ideal for the outdoor enthusiast looking for an affordable option for navigating their way through the water or the wilderness.

However because it is so affordable it does lack some features that other more expensive models have. For this reason it is important to know which features you would use and which you would not. There is no sense paying for all sorts of bells and whistles if they would never get used.
